FTOPS XVII – Mike Chappus wins second FTOPS XVII title

Mike “chapmoney” Chappus has become the first player of the seventeenth FTOPS series to win two events after last night earning $28,000 for his win in the $216 No Limit Hold ‘em Cashout event. The prize pool was $150,000 plus an additional $124,000 for those who wished to cash out before the end.

Chappus is famous outside the online poker world for his first – and thus far only – live tournament victory, taking down the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure heads-up side event for $24,000. However in total last night he won over double that and his FTOPS XVII earnings now top $100,000. In total, Chappus has earned over half a million dollars on PokerStars and more than $150,000 on Full Tilt Poker.
