Durrrr drops to lower stakes, wins $82,000

Tuesday, 15 December 2009

The huge amounts of money that Tom “durrrr” Dwan must be raking in (raking, geddit?) after becoming the newest member of Team Full Tilt should offer some consolation after his recent swings.

The 22-year-old, whom we are more used to seeing take down $500k+ pots at the highest stakes, has been playing as low as $25/$50 in order to rebuild his Isildurmolished bankroll.

Over the weekend, durrrr played over 2,000 hands and earned a tidy sum - $82,000, to be precise. An excellent earning for one weekend, admittedly, but for Dwan that’s an average pot.

However, he did play Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies at heads-up PLO, albeit at the surprisingly low stakes of $100/$200. Dwan got the upper hand in that confrontation and walked away $40,000 richer.
