JHoWn wins Full Tilt FTOPS XVIII Main Event for $400,000

FTOPS eighteen concluded yesterday with the $600 buy-in Main Event attracting a 5,023 strong field to break the $3,000,000 guarantee and secure a first place prize of almost half a million dollars. In the end it was unknown player JHoWn who took it down after a three-way deal.

Lee Childs made the final table, sparking hopes of a pro victory in the online event, but ultimately finished fifth and picked up a not-too-shabby $144,512 for his efforts. JHoWn, hilyaki and ReifesEisen made a deal three-handed before the former went on to defeat hilyaki heads-up and take down the event.


The $411,392 that JHoWn took down was the largest prize of the FTOPS XVIII but at the same time ‘tennisassxy’ took down the second-largest after beating out a 1,088-strong field for the $2,100 two-day NL event, winning $332,265 after a three-way deal.
