The iPoker Network is set to sponsor a new poker tour in one of the world’s top tourist destinations; the Caribbean.
Christened the Caribbean Poker Tour (CPT), the 17-day poker tournament series is scheduled to take place from November 8 to 24 in Punta Cana and St Maarten.Coinciding with the World Poker Tour’s (WPT) handful of events in the Caribbean, the new festival will host an additional three main events including the $1,500 William Hill Open on November 10.Also on offer alongside a slew of cash games will be the maiden $1,650 buy-in CPT main event, which will kick off on November 17, and the $7,000 buy-in Lucky Number Seven High Roller hosted by Tobias Reinkemeier.Qualifiers for the CPT are currently running across the iPoker Network at sites including bet365, Titan Poker and Betfair Poker.
