An epic EPT Prague festival drew to a close last night with Andrey Zaichenko taking down a marathon €10,000 High Roller event.

The Russian outlasted a 309-runner field in the Czech capital and pocketed €487,180 after agreeing a chop with Francois Billard and Laurynas Levinskas when play went three-handed.

The trio played on for a final €39,000 plus the title with Zaichenko eventually taking the honours some 14 hours after play began. The Russian was one card away from elimination at one stage but rode his luck to victory and his biggest career score.

"I've made many final tables," Zaichenko told the PokerStars blog. "This was good, but not enough for me. Now I've got a result."

A shout out too for Simon Deadman. The Britain took his tournament eanrings for 2014 to $1,821,156 after a fourth place finish which boosted his bankroll by €238,320.
