The tenth season of the World Poker Tour (WPT) will be adding a stop in Malta with a €3,300 Main Event taking place from September 20 until September 24 in Portomaso.
"Portomaso in Malta is normally the home of super yachts but for four days in late-September it will be home to the WPT Malta," said Adam Pliska, President of the WPT."This Mediterranean hotspot already has poker in its veins so we hope that, by introducing a WPT stop, we will satisfy the desires of locals and the international contingent looking for some late-summer sun."Matt Savage will be directing the tournament and satellites to the Main Event will be running from September 17.
