There's only two David Bakers

If we were going to change our name in the hope of improving our chances at the poker table we'd probably go for Phil Nguyen. Given the events of the past week we'd give David Baker a look though.

David 'Bakes' Baker won the $10k H.O.R.S.E last week and now David 'ODB' Bakes has won the $2.5k Eight-Game Mix bracelet. 'ODB' worked his way through a field of 477 runners, beating a final table that included Irishman Donnacha O'Dea, long-time chip leader Joseph Couden and Greg 'FTB' Mueller.

“It was weird. Before I came in today, I closed my eyes and was envisioning me winning just to try to get me to a good place,” Baker told Bluff USA “And I saw me winning in Razz which is weird because it’s not really a game you think about, but I just saw myself winning the bracelet in the razz game. When I got the pretty decent chip lead and then Razz was the next game I kind of felt like I was going to close it out.”

The final table positions and payouts were as follows:
1. David “ODB” Baker- $271,312
2. Greg Mueller – $167,637
3. Kevin Calenzo – $106,564
4. Joseph Couden – $76,841
5. Donnacha O’Dea – $56,277
6. Konstantin Puchkov – $41,844
7. Christopher McHugh – $31,578
8. Chris Viox – $24,188
