WSOP 2011 – $1,500 Triple Chance final table set

Thursday, 9 June 2011

Technically, the final table has not been set as ten players are remaining with the final table officially starting at nine. They are all around one table, though, so that’ll do. Of the 1,340 players in the $1,500 Triple Chance event it's Nicholas Rampone who has the most chips.

Rampone has twice the stack of his nearest competitor and almost three times that of the most recognisable pro at the table, Bill Chen. All ten players have invested between $1,500 and $4,500 in this event and are now guaranteed a payout of $19,952 with tomorrow’s winner set to walk away with a cool $352,808 plus the bracelet.

Some recognisable names that fell during Day 2 included Tyson Marks, JC Tran, Andy Black, Matt Glantz, Carlos Mortensen and Isaac Baron. Players return tomorrow to play from the unofficial ten-handed final table to a winner. The chip counts are as follows:

1.Nicholas Rampone – 1,500,000
2.Justin Sternberg – 737,000
3.Anders Meli – 658,000
4.Andrea Dato – 613,000
