WSOP Finale Starts Today

WSOP Finale Starts Today

Monday, 10 November 2014

Today will see the final nine players in this year's World Series of Poker Main Event begin their final fight for the champion's trophy.

Having been on a break since July 14, the November Nine will return to the Rio, Las Vegas, today and play down to three players before a winner is crowned tomorrow.

Leading the way will be The Netherlands' Jorryt van Hoof with 38,375,000 chips, but he'll be followed closely by Norway's Felix Stephensen.

As ever the WSOP finale has attracted a wealth of attention across the world with many of the finalists receiving public support from famous faces from their home countries.

Indeed, last week, Brazil's Bruno Politano released a video which showed a number of sports stars, including Barcelona's Neymar, wishing him good luck.

Live updates from this year's WSOP final table will be provided by WSOP.com and will start later today as the fight for the $10 million top prize gets under way.
