WSOP Circuit Main Event Atlantic City final table set

WSOP Circuit Main Event Atlantic City final table set

Tuesday, 14 December 2010

Of the 71 surviving players from Day 1 only nine remain at Harrah’s Atlantic City for the World Series of Poker Circuit $1,650 Main Event. With each of the nine guaranteed at least $11,000 for their efforts each player is looking to the six-figure first place money.

Leading the way, but only just, is Brandon Croft who racked up almost 1.4m in chips; he built most of that stack when 9-9 held up against 7-7 and A-K in a three-way all-in that sent him over the million-chip mark with 21 players left in contention.

He has competition in the million-chip club, though, with Matthew Waxman trailing behind by just 63,000. His skills and position to the left of all the other seven-figure stacks could well make him the favourite at this final table but Jesus Cabrera and Mark Sykes also have over a million and could make some noise.

The final table seat assignments and chip counts are as follows:
1.Tam Ly – 783,000
2.Dave Cubeta – 434,000
3.Chris Bonita – 339,000
4.Mark Sykes – 1,024,000
5.Brandon Croft – 1,397,000
6.Mike Summers – 469,000
7.Manish Patel – 194,000
8.Jesus Cabrera – 1,128,000
9.Matthew Waxman – 1,334,000
