WPT500 Action Heats Up

Friday, 30 October 2015

Poker players that fancy taking a shot at a guaranteed £1 million ($1.5 million) prize pool are being advised to visit Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in London today or Nottingham’s Dusk Till Dawn on Saturday, Sunday or Monday for the WPT500.

Being organised by the World Poker Tour (WPT), Dusk Till Dawn, and partypoker, the WPT500 has already held four online and two land-based qualifiers for its £1 million main event with six live events still to come.

Although the online day-one qualifiers for the £550 ($844) buy-in event are now done and dusted, there are still ample opportunities to get involved in London and Nottingham. After hosting two opening flights last weekend, the final day-one competition at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City gets under way from 5pm this evening while Dusk Till Dawn will host qualifiers at noon and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday before a rapid-fire turbo session gets underway at 10am on Monday.

All day-one survivors from both venues as well as online will then combine at Dusk Till Dawn from 2:30pm on Monday for day-two action before the final big money game plays out on Tuesday in Nottingham.

Players can enter once in each flight but can play as many flights as they like, taking forward their biggest stack into the day-two action.

The WPT500 is promising to be a corker of an event so head on down to Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City or Dusk Till Dawn for a chance of bagging a share of the seven-figure prize pool.
