The World Poker Tour has just announced its 2013 schedule. Including a mixture of North American and European stops, the shape of the next few months looks very attractive indeed.
Starting out in Atlantic City with the Borgata Winter Poker Open, the WPT bandwagon then rolls into Florida for the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open. Both these events will be streamed live via the internet and carry $3,500 buy-ins. After these openers the Tour hops over to Vienna, Austria, for the PartyPoker WPT Vienna, before another two stops in the US. From there it’s back to Europe, this time Barcelona, for the second of PartyPoker’s hosted events. With a €3,500 buy-in the Casino Barcelona is guaranteed to be packed with world-class talent when the WPT arrives there in April. The season closes with another trip to Florida's Seminole Hard Rock Casino before the year’s main spectacle, the $25,000 WPT Championship, takes place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Accompanying the main tour on its final run of Season XI will be a host of national events across Europe. Ireland, Spain, France, Cyprus and Belgium are just some of the countries the WPT will be popping over to and hosting a series of mid-range tournaments.
