13 players returned to the WPT Festa al Lago at Bellagio yesterday and by the close of a marathon day's play a final table of six was still in contention for the first prize of $831,500.
The final table should be a quality affair with a host of big tournament final table experience on show. Leading the way is 2009 WPT Spain champion Randall Flowers followed by WPT and WSOP finalist Noah Schwarz. Joining them at the final table are online pro Jason “NovaSky” Koon, multiple WSOP final tabler Skip Wilson and Caesars Palace Classic runner up Michael Benvenuti. One notable name absent from the final is that of Annette Obrestad. The long-time chip leader busted out in 13th place followed soon after by Jeff Madsen. The other notable name to hit the rail yesterday was Alan Kessler who was unlucky enough to run his Ace King into Jason Koon's pocket aces. The final tables chip counts are as follows:Seat 1. Skip Wilson — 1,200,000Seat 2. Michael Benvenuti — 1,390,000Seat 3. Jason Koon — 2,555,000Seat 4. Noah Schwartz — 3,135,000Seat 5. Randal Flowers — 3,215,000Seat 6.
