Poker's biggest high rollers will be heading to England next month after the World Poker Tour announced that London's Palm Beach Casino will be hosting the next stop on its super high roller Alpha 8 series.

The £100,000 buy-in event will take place at the Mayfair venue from 28th October and will be a re-entry affair.

The WPT will also be heading to South Africa for another Alpha 8 event early next year. The Emperors Palace Hotel & Casino Resort will be the venue for the two-day $100,000 WPT Johannesburg starting from 14th February 2014.

Steven Silverman won the first WPT Alpha8 super high roller in Florida last month. The EPT Championship High Roller champion boosted his bankroll by $891,660 after beating JC Tran to the title.
