Matthew Baker is the man to beat heading into day 2 of the UKIPT Isle of Man Main Event.

Baker was the only player on either opening flight to crack the 200,000 barrier and he'll return today with an impressive stack of 235,600.

As expected the PokerStars family were out in force on day 1B with Victoria Coren-Mitchell enjoying the best of it. The Only Connect host closed the day with 129,000 which is good enough for ninth overall.

Jake Cody (60,400) will also be back on Saturday, as will fellow PokerStars pros Luca Pagano (66,400) and Adrienne 'Talonchick' Rowsome (36,400). Full Tilt Ambassador Martins Adeniya (97,500) also survived Friday and is well placed for a deep run.

Former WSOP Main Event winner Chris Moneymaker topped a list of high profile exits. Joining him on the sidelines were the likes of Isaac Haxton, Theo Jorgensen, Eugene Katchalov and defending champion Duncan McLellan.

A total of 116 of the 402 starters are still in the hunt for a first prize of £65,900 with 55 of them set to make the money.

The chip leaders heading into day 2 are as follows:
