The post-Black Friday remission process for affected US players moved one step closer to completion yesterday following the appointment of a claims administrator by the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

Having conducted a lengthy selection process, the government body selected the Garden City Group to oversee the process.


Having handled many bankruptcy proceedings in the past, the company is said to have “a track record of handling the administration of some of the country’s largest and most complicated settlements”, according to US Attorney Preet Bharara.


Outlined in a press release it states that the “GCG is a class-action settlement and bankruptcy administration company that has provided comprehensive legal administration services for nearly three decades”.
