UKIPT Day 1b - Cookie Jar

Someone loses a finger.
The start of Level 2 (50/100) saw a relatively sizeable clash on Table 14.
Inbetween talkative Irishman, Kieran Brennan, asking about the origins of his tablemates, a raised 3-way flop of AhKh5c saw cut-off, Patrick Sheanon lead out for 600 only to be called by both remaining players. The same happened when he bet out a grand on the 3c turn. A six of spades on the river brought a check from Sheanon, prompting Dan Rankin on the button to spray 1,700 chips into the middle, only for his bluff to be snapped off in a heartbeat.
Any fireworks are still of the pitiful roman candle in the back yard variety rather than the dramatic bombast of a national celebration, but things are certainly warming up.
