Following another successful PokerStars event in the Caribbean at the start of January, the operator's MTT bandwagon is now heading for London's West End for another mid-stakes showdown.
Always one of UKIPT's most popular events, the latest London leg will get underway tomorrow and run through until Sunday from the Hippodrome Casino. Last season, the £770 main event attracted 1,089 entrants and when the betting was over it was Brett Angell left standing atop of the winner's podium.This time around the organisers are hoping to break those numbers thanks to a comprehensive selection of live and online satellites.As well as giving punters a chance to ante-up in the £770 main event on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, UKIPT London will also be offering a selection of side events as cash games. While the latter will be running throughout the day and night, the former will be held at select times throughout the week.Topping the list of attractions for those not in the main event will be the £3,250 High Roller and the £330 London Cup.
