PokerStars is serving ups its own Halloween extravaganza today as the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) makes its first visit to the Isle of Man.
A host of PokerStars pros will be on hand for the £1,000+£100 Main Event including recent WSOPE High Roller and World Series of Poker Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu. Joining poker's king of the rant in the Isle of Man will be the likes of Jason Mercier, Barry Greenstein, Mickey Petersen and UK favourites Liv Boeree, Victoria Coren and Jake Cody. “We are looking forward to welcoming high-profile, poker professionals to the Isle of Man. For many of them, this is their first time visiting the Isle of Man, and they will be joining hundreds of players on a journey to PokerStars’ home town,” said Kirsty Thompson, President of the UKIPT. In addition to the usual selection of tournaments and cash games on offer visitors to UKIPT Isle of Man will also be given the opportunity to have a look behind the scenes at PokerStars HQ. "PokerStars is very proud to bring a large-scale poker festival to our corporate hometown to allow poker players to learn about PokerStars and our home," added Kirsty Thompson. "Being able to play, chat and compete with PokerStars employees at the tables will be an extra benefit as they visit the home of PokerStars." Join us throughout the week for updates from what should be a great few days.
