UK Departure for Mansion Poker

Wednesday, 10 September 2014

Ahead of the introduction in the UK of a 15 percent ‘point of consumption’ tax later this year, Mansion Poker is set to quit the British market.

“Due to changing regulations regarding online gaming in the UK, we must inform you that Mansion Poker is required to close its doors to UK players on September 15,” read an email sent to UK players.

“As a result, we kindly request that you withdraw any and all funds you have in your Mansion Poker account.”

Mansion has confirmed that it is in the process of applying for a UK Gambling licence in accordance with the UK Regulator guidelines and timelines for its British facing online casino brands.

Mansion Poker is recommending that its players join fellow iPoker site Titan Poker.

“You are invited to join this new, reliable and secure brand for continued online poker enjoyment. At TitanBet Poker you will continue to play the fast-paced tournaments and cash games of the iPoker Network and you will feel comfortable with the familiar features of the software. In addition, TitanBet Poker will offer you expanded poker promotions that you will be sure to enjoy.”
