Monday, 12 March 2012

Tom Langley has won the Poker770 Mega Poker Series event at Dusk Till Dawn. The DTD regular outlasted a 227-runner field (including re-entries) to take home the biggest win of his career.

Langley went into the final table as the chip leader and kept the momentum going throughout the final day, eventually defeating Andrew Hulme heads up to take the £40,938.63 first prize. Other notables to go deep included top German pro Julian Herold, Hit Squadee Chaz Chattha and GUKPT Goliath finalist Simon Deadman. Sky Poker pundit James Atkin was the final table bubble boy, unluckily running his pocket Jacks into Herold's pocket Queens. Kyriacos Dionysiou also made the money, as did Mickey Wernick.

6 Charles Chattha £5,668.43
7 Nick Dhondt £4,408.78
