His thousands of fans, admirers, followers and emulators will be over the moon at the news that Tom Dwan has launched a new blog at his official website.
The first entry isn't exactly a fantastic insight into the mind of a poker genius, and actually implies the blog might be over before it starts as Dwan says that he'll "try to post a bunch, but I'm usually busy and since writing isn't exactly my favorite pastime, this might not work out too well… we'll see." Nothing wrong with writing, Tom, I'm doing it right now and it's fine.Dwan goes onto describe some recent activities in London that we previously reported on; a little incident involving Phil Ivey, Jay Z and a helicopter. That sounds like the start of a bad joke."Speaking of mid-air activities in London," Dwan wrote in his inaugural - and hopefully not last - entry. "I was recently there and took part in a short helicopter trip. We were heading to what I thought was a Jay-Z concert with Coldplay opening, however in the UK, it was the other way around… news that Patrik and I were not very happy to hear. As way bigger Jay-Z fans, both of us were pretty sad about his shorter set… I thought Patrik was gonna head-butt someone."Bluff Europe likes: High stakes poker players don't like Coldplay.
