More details have emerged about the death of high stakes pro Johannes Strassmann, whose body was found in Ljubliana, Slovenia last month.

According to the German tabloid Bild, the post-mortem revealed that Strassmann's body contained traces of what it described as 'prohibited drugs'.

The police declined to name the alleged substance but Bild quoted an “eyewitness” who claimed that Strassmann had been “with three Slovenians... One of the men was a good friend. The other two he knew slightly. One of them was a notorious drug dealer. The group has been eating magic mushrooms.”

According to the witness, Strassmann abrubtly left the group at 10pm and was reported missing later that evening. The 29-year-old's body was found in the Llubljanica River a week later.
