Stephen Graner Heads EPT Finale

Stephen Graner Heads EPT Finale

Tuesday, 16 December 2014

Stephen Graner is the man to beat heading into Wednesday's EPT Prague final table after a rapid-fire penultimate day in the Czech capital.

There's quite a gap to Ramsgate-based German Fabio Sperling (4,560,000) and compatriot Bjorn Wiesler (3,065,000) who sit in third and fourth respectively.

The second Swede at the final table, Simon Mattson (2,805,000), follows in fifth followed by the lone surviving Briton, Londoner Jonathan Wong (2,090,000).

Former EPT winner Remi Castaignon's (2,070,000) hopes of a second title are very much alive.

A stellar list of 22 names started Tusday with hopes of glory in Prague with most eyes on the ever-impressive Vanessa Selbst. The WSOP $25k Mixed-Max winner couldn't add an EPT title to her 2014 tournament CV though after busting in 14th.

The British duo of Tamer Kamel and Sam Grafton both went deep but couldn't quite reach the final day either, busting in 15th and 12th.

EPT11 Prague final table chip counts:

Seat 1: Anton Bertilsson, Sweden, PokerStars qualifier, 7,740,000
