Stake Me To Play Launches in Style
Thursday, 22 August 2013
New staking company Stake Me To Play launched in style on Friday night with the great and the good of the UK poker scene on hand for a swanky launch party at Aspers Casino.
The highlight of the festivities at the Stratford venue was a special freeroll that saw Brandon Sheils outlast a 60-runner field to gain an EPT London seat worth £5,000.
The youngster from Birmingham was naturally delighted with his triumph, describing it as 'an amazing experience'. The 18-year-old will be donning the Stake Me To Play patch at this year's EPT London where he'll lock horns with the likes of Jake Cody and his poker hero Daniel Negreanu.
“I can’t wait to play in the EPT London and take down the pros!” said the 18-year-old, who is due to start studying maths at Birmingham University in September.
As part of his prize, Brandon will receive coaching from Stake Me To Play's stable of top instructors including some mental training from renowned poker mind coach Jared Tendler.
“A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special night,” said Stake Me To Play Operations Director
Paul Conroy-Frost.
I’m delighted so many people turned out to show their support for Stake Me to Play, and we’re all really excited for the future too.”
