Organisers of the first ever tournament hosted at Wembley, the International Stadiums Poker Tour, have announced details of their second live event.
Contrary to rumours suggesting a visit to Brazil or the Czech Republic, the next ISPT tournament will in fact be in North Africa. The tour seems to have dropped the Stadium part of its name too as next month's event will be staged at the Casino de Tanger in Morocco. Dubbed the Tanger Millionaire Maker, the three-day, €900 buy-in re-entry Main Event will feature a trio of opening day flights on 30 and 31 October and 1 November with the winner eventually decided on Sunday 3 November. Players will start with 35,000 chips with a 45-minute clock operating on the first two days before stretching to an hour for the final day. The winner is set to pocket a guaranteed first prize of €90,000. Rather like the Wembley event, details are a little sketchy with no news yet about online satellites.
