Sam Razavi wins Grosvenor 25/25 Portsmouth

We're used to reporting about Sam Razavi winning tournaments in Asia. The actor turned poker star has shown he's just as adept closer to home after winning the latest leg of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series in Portsmouth over the weekend.

Razavi, who is one of the nominees for the Poker Personality of the Year at next week's British Poker Awards, outlasted a field of 264 runners at the city's G Casino to take top honours.

With the clock just past 3am Sam finally sealed the win, hitting his flopped open-ended straight draw on the turn to beat Manuel Bardon's top pair.

The final table positions and payouts were as follows:
