The latest season of the Sky Poker Tour drew to a close over the weekend with Sam MacDonald outlasting a 279-runner field at Dusk Till Dawn.
Notable names in attendance included Sky Poker TV regulars Julian Thew and Ryan Spittles, recent Genting Poker Series winner Yucel Eminoglou and Bluff Europe columnist Paul Jackson who enjoyed a very deep run.Action Jack agreed a deal with Sam MacDonald and James Howard when play went three handed with around £51,000 on the table. Howard took £19k of it with Jackson and MacDonald both taking £15k before playing on for £1,500 and the trophy.Jackson made the short trip from the east to the West Midlands with the £15k after bowing out in third, losing a flip with AK against Howard's pocket 4s. MacDonald started heads up play the shorter of the two stacks but a pair of double ups soon put him in control and he sealed the deal soon after when his KQ held against Howard's short stacked shove with 4-2.The final table positions and payouts were as follows:1.
