Salsberg Makes Back-to-Back WPT Finals

Tuesday, 12 February 2013

The World Poker Tour’s event in the Seminole Hard Rock Casino has just reached its final table and amongst the remaining players are some familiar names.

Thanks to the elimination of Ben Tarzia in seventh place, a selection of highly regarded players will be battling it out for the $323,804 first place prize during tomorrow’s finale.

Currently leading the way with 3,005,000 chips is Matt Giannetti, just ahead of Daryll Fish (2,660,000) and Danny Shiff (1,930,000).

Also still in contention when play resumes tomorrow will be start of the day chip leader Hayden Fortini (1,620,000), Matt Salsberg (980,000 making his second consecutive WPT final table) and Lily Kiletto (860,000).

If Salsberg can manage to grind his short stack into a tournament winning pile, he’ll earn his second WPT in less than 12 months and take his circuit winnings to over $1 million.
