Octo-Niner Rob Salaburu won’t just be starting the WSOP Main Event final on Monday with a new sponsor, he’ll be sitting down with a t-shirt emblazoned with his memorable quote from this year’s event.

Having just inked a deal with RunGoodGear, a poker clothing company, Salaburu becomes yet another finalist to enter into a sponsorship deal ahead of the biggest sessions of poker he’s ever likely to play.

However, unlike the other players who will be wearing patches on Monday, Salaburu will actually be wearing a t-shirt sporting the phrase: “You lost bro”.

The catchphrase has become synonymous with Salaburu after he politely but directly had to inform David Balkan that his set of tens actually wasn’t the best hand against Gaelle Baumann.

The incident certainly left Balkin red-faced with embarrassment as he left the tournament area, but it’s made a mini-celebrity out of Salaburu.

Commenting on the deal, Tana Karn, founder of RunGoodGear, said: “The RunGood office and I are ecstatic that Rob agreed to help represent our company. We hope to send him all the run-good we can muster for his final stretch into poker history.”

Whether or not the new deal will help Salaburu parlay his 15 million chips stack into a Championship winning run remains to be seen.
