Rossiter Heads EPT London Final Table

Rossiter Heads EPT London Final Table

Saturday, 12 October 2013

Australian pro Jeff Rossiter is the man to beat heading into the final day of the EPT London Main Event.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to deep runs in major tournaments having finished 3rd in the Aussie Millions Main Event in 2011. Even more impressive was a runner up finish in this year's Guangdong Millions Main Event where he pocketed $3,155,887. Rossiter will return to the Grand Connaught Rooms today with a stack of 5,205,000.

Greek grandfather Georgios Karakousis is next on 4,390,000 followed by Swedish grinder Robin Ylitao. The home rail still has plenty of opportunities to cheer on a home victory with online qualifier Leo McClean leading the UK challenge. The 24-year-old is a retail project manager by day and secured his place at EPT London via an £82 satellite. He's already turned that into at least £47,750 but will of course be hoping for much more.

Joining McClean at today's final table will be Glaswegian Ludovic Geilich and former GUKPT Manchester winner Kully Sidhu from Birmingham.

The final table chip counts are as follows:

Jeff Rossiter , Australia, PokerStars player, 5,205,000
Georgios Karakousis , Greece, PokerStars qualifier, 4,390,000
Robin Ylitalo , Sweden, PokerStars player, 2,795,000
