Players taking part in the International Stadiums Poker Tour later this month won’t go thirsty thanks to a high profile new partnership for the event.
It was announced yesterday that internationally renowned energy drink producers, Red Bull, has partnered with the ISPT. The exclusive deal will see Red Bull become the official drink of the event and run a number of promotions during the festival. Having sponsored a number of extreme and groundbreaking sporting events in the past, such as Red Bull X-Fighter, Red Bull MotoGP Rookie Cup and the Red Bull Soapbox Race, the company is well placed to support the first incarnation of the ISPT. While Red Bull products will be on offer throughout Wembley Stadium between May 31 and June 5, the organisers have also stated that they plan to offer other surprises for players as the event unfolds. In the press release regarding the event, ISPT spokesman said: “Red Bull has always supported extreme sports events and the ISPT is making history by bringing together thousands of players from all over the world for the first ever live poker tournament in Wembley Stadium. Boldness, bravery and the will to collectively raise the bar and succeed have united Red Bull and ISPT for this unique event.” There are still plenty of opportunities to qualify for Wembley.
