The starting field of 987 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event is down to 166 with Nicholas Godoy leading the charge for the $1.85m first prize. The Argentine, who qualified online for just $10, will return with a stack of 724,200, followed by 2012 WSOP bracelet winner Darren Elias 558,900 and Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi 540,700.

Other notables who are still in contention include Joe Serock 493,600, former World Champions Carlos Mortensen 296,500 and Joe Cada 253,000 and PokerStars' newest Team Pro Jake Cody 145,600.


Olympic legend Michael Phelps won't be adding to his medal collection after busting yesterday. Joining the swimming star on the rail were the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Ville Wahlbeck, Boris Becker, Luca Pagano and Liv Boeree.


The money bubble is set to burst later today with 144 players set to secure a minimum pay day of at least $15,000.
