Need that poker fix while on the go? Media portal PokerTube is ready to scratch that itch following the launch of a new specially designed mobile app.
The new mobile and tablet friendly version is available to download in the iOS App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon App store. The new app will feature all the video and news content on offer at the desktop site, all specially packaged for smartphone and tablet users."While many online poker rooms have spent years developing sophisticated mobile platforms, affiliates in poker - and in the wider igaming space - are yet to produce top quality products in this niche," said Jamie Nevin, founder of PokerTube parent company 180Vita. "It can be a challenge, as you have to consider complicated elements around mobile tracking, geolocation, and displaying offers specific to different mobile devices. However it is a challenge we are more than capable of rising to with PokerTube."PokerTube is celebrating the new app launch with a series of special sign-up offers aimed at mobile and tablet users. Everyone who downloads the PokerTube mobile app will also be able to access the PokerTube social wall - essentially a Facebook for poker players. The main PokerTube.com site has also enjoyed something of an overhaul with recent additions including an advert-free video player, an comprehensive tournament calendar as well as a PokerTube Leaderboard.
