PokerStars to host double Sunday Million and Sunday Warm-Up

This Sunday, just because, PokerStars have decided to double up their two biggest weekly tournaments. The Sunday Million, carrying a $216 buy-in and a $1,000,000 guarantee, regularly attracts upwards of 6,000 players while the $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Warm-Up runs earlier and gets four figures usually.

Now they’re both happening twice. At the usual time of 14.30 ET the Sunday Million will begin; thirty minutes later the Bonus Million will begin. Both tournaments carry the same $1,000,000 prize pool guarantee and the same $216 buy-in.


The Sunday Warm-Up is the same. Both events will have a $500,000 guarantee and will run within half an hour of each other; the first Sunday Warm-Up begins at 11.00 ET, the second at 11.30 ET. What PokerStars are calling Double Vision Sunday carries over $3m in guarantees for just a total investment of $848 – or less, if you play the satellites.
