PokerStars signs billiards champion Toni Judet to Team Pro

PokerStars signs billiards champion Toni Judet to Team Pro

Thursday, 14 October 2010

PokerStars have added a new sporting face to their roster of PokerStars Pros and this one is apt, given Daniel Negreanu et al’s experience hustling the pool tables before turning to poker. International billiards champion Toni Judet has been announced as the latest addition to PokerStars’s line-up.

Judet has international success on the felt and on the felt (see what we did there? Because pool and poker are both on the fe- ah, forget it). In addition to his billiards titles, Judet has taken down a side event at the EPT Grand Final for over $250,000 and the CAPT Bregenz Open Main Event for almost $150,000.

A regular on the EPT, Judet will now bear PokerStars patches as he attempts to better his EPT Monte Carlo victory. He will also be playing online – naturally – under the screenname of Toni Judet.
