PokerStars qualifiers crush England rugby players

PokerStars qualifiers crush England rugby players

England's rugby union players are unbeaten in their Six Nations campaign this year but three of their finest can't say the same on the online poker felt.

Mike Tindall, Dylan Hartley and David Strettle took on a field of qualifiers in a special PokerStars Home Game earlier this week. 91-players took part in the bounty special with qualifier Arnie188 winning the tournament and taking home an England shirt signed by the whole squad.

A word should also go out to qualifier FlompyD who busted out not one but two of the England stars. Hooker Dylan Hartley was the first to go after his set of sevens ran into FlompyD's flush. Strettle went next, his two pair looked good but not good enough against FlompyD's straight. Tindall lasted longest of the England trio eventually busting out in 27th place.
