PokerStars is adding $30,000 to its VIP freerolls this week

It’s the last week of the PokerStars VIP Mega Month, where you can advance up the VIP club levels at ten percent of the normal rate. Not only that, but PokerStars are adding an additional $30,000 to VIP freerolls this week meaning that it’s never been a better time to generate some rake.

There are six tournaments a day with a buy-in of ten or 20 FPPs with a prize pool of $1,000 or $2,000. That’s an additional $9,000 going back to players every day this week. The tournaments can be found under the Tourney> VIP tab on the PokerStars client.


Of course, you should be playing as much as you can at PokerStars this month anyway as for just 75 VPPs you advance to SilverStar status, which usually takes 750 VPPs. For perspective, 75 FPPs is roughly what you earn just by buying into the Sunday Million once.


To reach PlatinumStar and get a 2.5x FPP multiplier as well as tonnes of other bonuses, one must only achieve 750 VPPs this month. This is easily doable in eight days, so get to it.
