PokerStars' UKIPT Heads To Bristol

PokerStars' UKIPT Heads To Bristol

Wednesday, 5 August 2015

PokerStars' UKIPT bandwagon will roll into Bristol today for the first time in two years. The operator's leading small-to-mid-stakes festival always attracts a lot of support wherever it goes, but the latest event in Bristol should have an added layer of interest due to its two-year hiatus.

Helping conjure up some more interest in the event is the now famous PokerStars All-In Kitchen which will be serving up a slice of Spanish cuisine and some poker chips in one of the city's finest restaurants throughout the week.

From a poker point of view, the first round of action inside the Rainbow Casino gets under way tonight with a £150+£15 6-max turbo. Running alongside this side event will be a satellite for the £700+£70 Main Event which gets under way on Thursday at 12:00pm.

Complementing this will be a second Day 1 on Friday before the event moves towards a conclusion on Saturday and Sunday.

Expected to play in the Main Event are the likes of Daniel Carter, Jake Cody, Dara O'Kearney and the last man to win a UKIPT title Bristol (the UKIPT online title), Wojtek Barzantny. Between these pros and the satellite qualifiers ready to ante-up, UKIPT Bristol 2015 is expected to welcome more than 300 runners in the Main Event.
