PokerStars Releases SCOOP Schedule

Thursday, 17 April 2014

PokerStars has just released the official schedule for its upcoming Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) and revealed that this year’s version of the tournament series will comprise 45 events promising to hand out a minimum of $40 million in cash and prizes.

After announcing a provisional roster of events a few weeks ago, PokerStars finally strapped some guarantees onto its multi-table tournaments with the SCOOP 2014 action getting underway from May 4 and running for a full 15 days.

Broken down into low, medium and high buy-in events, there will be 18 different games spread across 15 different formats throughout the online festival.

On top of its largest ever prize pool, the 2014 incarnation of SCOOP will also track the top performing players of the series and award a trio of successful competitors with seats into the main event of next year's PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) while the best overall grinder is to receive a European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo Grand Final spot for 2015.

The full SCOOP 2014 schedule is available here with a quick scan revealing a host of attractive events with the most intriguing the three May 18 main events. Costing $100, $1,000 and $10,000 respectively to enter, these tournaments will no doubt attract the game's top players and ensure three grinders win anything between $100,000 and $500,000.
