PokerStars' 100 billionth hand milestone is fast approaching and to mark the occasion the site will be handing out $5 million in cash prizes.
Kicking off in June, a series of lucrative promotions will be on offer to both cash and tournament players as the site races towards a landmark moment. For cash game grinders a bevy of bankroll bonuses will be handed out every millionth hand as the counter rolls on from 99,700,000,000 to the 100,000,000,000 mark. While the bulk of the payouts will be handed to those at the tables where each millionth hand mini-milestone is hit, prizes will also be shared amongst those at every table of the same game type thanks to the “Stake Share” system in place. For the player who hits that 100 billionth hand a top prize of at least $100,000 will be given away. In addition to the milestone payouts, PokerStars will also be hosting four tournaments each with low buy-ins and big prizes. The first will be a world record tournament with a $300,000 guarantee and a $1 entry fee. Aside from the tournament promising to hand out $25,000 to the winner, the organisers are also hoping it breaks the record for the largest tournament ever held with a capacity field of 225,000 runners. Beyond this tournament a $1 million guaranteed Zoom tournament and a $1 million free roll will also take place on June 23 and June 30 respectively. Add to this a series of Golden Sit & Go tournaments and there’s no doubt that PokerStars are pulling out all the stops for their biggest milestone yet. New players who deposit $20 will be rewarded with $20 of free play and a 31-day ticket for the 100K Privilege Freerolls! Sign up at PokerStars.
