The highly touted PokerStars 7 client was officially released earlier this week, albeit in a beta state.
After many months of development, planning and talk, the software is now available for everyone to download and test out. At the moment this doesn't mean the new set-up is the standard model for all PokerStars players, but it does mean you can now have a look at the software's new features and have your say. Once the beta testing phase is complete, the product will be rolled out across all PokerStars' platforms and become a standard template. So what things can players expect from PokerStars 7?Basically the whole system has been designed to give players more information, more customisation and more diversity. A new set of lobby filters will make the process of finding a game even easier than before, whilst a host of customisation tools will give you the ability to highlight specific games, players and just about any dynamic you could wish for. Beyond this, the new selection of apps contained within the software will give you the ability to have personalised news feeds, poker school updates and even an overview of all PokerStars' live events on an interactive map. Overall the system looks to be an impressive improvement on the current lobby and should usher in a new way of enjoying the game online. To check out PokerStars 7 for yourself, simply log into .com, .eu or .es and click on "Try PokerStars 7" in the top menu bar.
