After ten years in business, online poker site PokerHeaven.com will be closing its doors next week.
The online poker site stated that the move was due to ‘increased market regulation across Europe and other environmental factors’ and will see trading cease from November 12.“The last day to access the poker room and play will be Thursday, November 12, although you will be able to login to your account via the website until Wednesday, November 19, to withdraw your funds,” read a statement from PokerHeaven.com.“You will still be able to retrieve any funds after November 19 by e-mailing Support@PokerHeaven.com and supplying relevant account details. However, you are strongly recommended to withdraw any funds before this date to ensure they are returned as quickly as possible.”After spells on the Boss Media and Ongame poker networks, PokerHeaven.com moved to the Microgaming Poker Network last year but the hoped up-tick in traffic failed to materialise leading to the site’s decision to shut.
