Phil Hellmuth To Help

Phil Hellmuth To Help

Wednesday, 21 October 2015

The start to the final main event of this year’s World Series Of Poker (WSOP) is drawing ever closer and if the prospect of a new world champion stepping into the limelight isn't enough to peek your interest then maybe Phil Hellmuth can help.

The final session of the $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold‘em WSOP 2015 main event is due to begin on November 8 with Federico Butteroni one of the ‘November Nine’ hoping to bag the $7.6 million top prize.

According to a video from 888poker, Hellmuth will be meeting up with Butteroni in New York for five days of coaching before the Italian sits down at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

As it stands, Butteroni will enter the WSOP main event contest with 16 big blinds, which makes him the holder of one of the shortest stacks. However, the coaching from Hellmuth could make the 25-year-old a real threat in the nine-member final although neither has revealed what the sessions are to cover.

In return for the help, Butteroni is to take part in the Hellmuth’s charity poker tournament immediately after the coaching sessions.

Will Hellmuth's help be enough to spur Butteroni on to victory? Quite possibly not, but it will be interesting to see how Hellmuth reacts to any bad beats his young protege takes during the WSOP final table.
