PKR.com recently announced a tie up with London's newest poker venue, the Fox Poker Club. It hasn't taken long for the partners to come up with what looks like an exciting new tournament series.

London Calling will take place at the Shaftesbury Avenue venue from 11th October until 7th November and will feature a total of 57 tournaments. As well as the usual no limit hold'em tournaments there will be a selection of PLO, PLO8, Heads Up events and a two day HORSE event with the majority of buy-ins ranging from £20 to £100.

The 28-day series will come to a conclusion in a special two-day £300 buy-in Main Event. There will also be a leader board element to the series with players earning points depending on their finishing positions. These points can then be put to use in an exclusive freeroll at PKR.com with the more points earned the better the starting stack.

PKR.com Marketing Director Simon Prodger said, “It’s been our ambition to put on an event like this for some time, and we’re delighted that London now has the perfect venue in which to do so. With regular buy-ins ranging from £20 ‘London Calling’ is for the huge number of people who’d love to play a high-quality, dealer dealt tournament but find most poker tours and festivals are too high for their bankroll.”
