The Main Event is a $35 buy-in tournament that features starting stacks of 10,000 chips and a 30-minute clock with the prize pool a guaranteed $25,000. The first event is scheduled for Sunday 6 March with future Main Events taking place on the first Sunday of the month thereafter.


One interesting wrinkle to The Main Event is that it will be split over two days. Play will finish at 1am on Sunday night before resuming on Monday at 7.15pm which is great news for people who have to work on Monday morning.
