PCA Main Event final table set – Jaka leads

Friday, 13 January 2012

The final table of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has been set and there's a familiar face at the top of the leader board. Faraz Jaka started the penultimate day with a huge chip lead and by the close he had kept it but only just.

The man known as The Toilet closed the day with a stack of 6,470,000 just an ante or two ahead of Kyle Julius on 6,450,000. Canada's Xuan Liu, the first woman to reach a PCA Main Event final table, lies in third with 6,355,000.

Dutchman Ruben Visser is next on 4,400,000 followed by John Dibella on 3,465,000, David Bernstein (no, not the head of the FA) on 1,960,000 and PokerStars qualifier Mark Drover on 1,430,000 with Anthony Gregg rounding out the final table on 1,160,000.

Blinds will be 60,000/120,000 with a 10,000 ante when play resumes this afternoon.

All eight players are guaranteed a pay day of at least $156,400 with the winner walking away $2m to the good. The final table action will be broadcast at PokerStars.tv, complete with hole cards, on a 40-minute delay from 6.40pm UK time.
