Having been in production for two years, the cinematic portrayal of the online poker industry finally reached its pinnacle yesterday when Bet Raise Fold: The Story Of Online Poker was made available for general download.

Costing $9.99 for the standard edition or $12.99 for a special edition including deleted scenes and filmmaker commentary, the movie tells the story of how online poker transformed the lives of three people.

Containing exclusive interviews with some of the game’s best players including Phil Galfond and Vanessa Selbst, the film charts the rise and fall of the of online poker before and after Black Friday.

Since finishing the project, Jay Rosenkrantz and Ryan Firpo have been busy promoting it to members of the poker community and beyond.

Indeed, a successful screening of the film at the WSOP this year gave the two creators a much needed confidence boost ahead of yesterday’s release.
