Ole Schemion takes Partouche Main Event

Monday, 10 September 2012

After a controversial Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, which saw the €5 million guarantee reneged on and then reinstated, Ole Schemion took home approximately $1.5 million and the trophy after outlasting the 573-strong field.

The German had a tough final table to compete with, with known pros Dan O'Brien, and Marcello Marigliano in contention as well as Dan Smith - who has had an incredible year, most recently winning the €50k Super High Roller at EPT Barcelona last month for $1,183,000. O'Brien and Marcello came 4th and 5th respectively.

Schemion beat Karen Sarkisyan heads up for the title sealing victory after flopping a king high flush which held against Sarkisyan’s top pair and nut flush draw.

2. Karen Sarkisyan Russia €693,494
