Noah Schwartz leads final 18 players at LA Poker Classic

Tuesday, 28 February 2012

The WPT LA Poker Classic has concluded Day 4, leaving us with just 18 players left with play scheduled to further narrow the field to a six-handed final table today. Leading the way – but only just – is Noah Schwartz on 1.77m chips.

Right on his tail, however, is WSOP bracelet-winner Dan Kelly on 1.75m chips. Also making it to the final 18 with an above-average stack are Jason Dewitt and Jason Somerville. Those returning for Day 5 with less include Joe Hachem, David Sands and Sorel Mizzi.

Schwartz made most of his chips from winning a pre-flop coinflip then getting all the money in on the flop, his 33 holding against AK on a 345 board. All 18 returning players are guaranteed $39,530 but the final table is receiving $202,910 with the winner set to take home $1,370,240.
